Meet Dr. ET
     Dr. Turke has always had a passion to improve people's confidence through enhancing their smiles. He really enjoys helping teenagers and adults build up their self-esteem through the orthodontic process.Dr. Turke was born and grew up in South Miami. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He went up to New York for further studies and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1985, with honors, and completed his orthodontic specialty training there in 1989. Dr. Turke practiced general family dentistry for 5 years in New York City before specializing in the field of orthodontics. Upon receiving his doctorate from NY University, Dr.Turke married and moved back down to Florida - mostly for the fishing! - but also to start their family and to establish his new practice. He began his orthodontic practice in this area in 1991. Dr. Turke is board-certified in orthodontics by the American Association of Orthodontists, where he is an active member. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. Dr. Turke is a member of Idlewild Baptist Church located in Tampa. Dr. Turke is also involved in mission projects. Recently, he joined two dentists and a physician on a medical mission trip to Mexico. |
